The engagement was announced 24 November, 2005, between Joseph G. de M. Carey, youngest son of Mr & Mrs George Carey, of Hammersmith, London, & Kinvara Louise Prittie (b. 1978), scion of the Barons Dunalley, younger daughter of Oliver Alan Graham Prittie (b. 1948), of Kensington, by his 1st wife, the former Alison Victoria Tillie (now Mrs William Boone), of Hellingly, East Sussex.
