The Hon. Heather Doreen Bell (nee Parnell) who died at Winchester, Hampshire, 7 November, 2005, was a daughter of the 6th Baron Congleton (1892-1967), by his wife the former Hon Edith Mary Palmer Howard, daughter of the Baroness Strathcona & Mount Royal (in her own right). She was born Heather Parnell in 1929, and married 1960, Robert Peter Mangin Bell, by whom she had issue, Simon (b. 1961), Aidan (b. 1967) and Penelope (b. 1963). A Thanksgiving service takes place at St Cross Church, Winchester, 16 Nov, 2005.
