Lady Reilly

Lady Reilly, physiotherapist and writer, died 1 October, 2005. She was aged 83.
Her books include: 'In the Shadow of a Saint' (1983); 'The Household of St Thomas More' (1985).
She was born Ruth Margaret Cude, 17 May, 1922, the youngest daughter of Edmund Cude (who died in 1970), of Ashbrittle, Church Vale, London N2, by his wife Alice Marian Haswell (who died in 1974).
She was four times married, 1stly, in 1947, to Frank Davies, who died in 1959, son of Frederick Davies, by whom she had one daughter; married 2ndly, 1963, (Peter) Rupert Waterlow, who died in 1969, only son of Sir Philip Alexander Waterlow, 4th Baronet (who died in 1973); married 3rdly, 1969, Sir Arthur Lionel Pugh Norrington, JP, sometime President of Trinity College, Oxford, who died in 1982, of Grenville Manor, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire; married 4thly, Sir D'Arcy Patrick Reilly, GCMG, OBE (1909-99).
Her death notice in The Times and Daily Telegraph says she was _Lady Norrington Reilly_.
Her step-son is Sir Christopher Rupert Waterlow, 5th Baronet.
