The marriage took place 5 November, 2005, at St Meubred's, Cardinham, between the 18th Lord Sinclair (b. 9 Dec, 1968), son of the late Major the 17th Lord Sinclair, CVO (1914-2004) and Lady Sinclair (nee Cotterell, of the Cotterell Baronets), and Laura C. Coode, scion of the Coode BLG family, younger daughter of Jonathan Arundell Coode (b. 1938), descended from the Neave Baronets, and Mrs Coode, of Lanhydrock, Cornwall. Laura is a sister of the Gold Medal winning Olympic oarsman, Ed Coode.
