The engagement was announced 30 Nov, 2005, between William G.R. Younger, scion of the eponymous brewing family and kin of the Viscounts Younger of Leckie, the extinct Barons Blanesburgh, and the Younger Baronets, eldest son of Lieutenant-Colonel David Younger, of Melrose, Roxburghshire, and Mrs Jane Younger, of Gilling, East Yorkshire, & Frances J. Burridge, only daughter of the late Mr James Burridge, and of Mrs Midge Burridge, of Taston, Oxfordshire.
